    Tue 05 Apr 2022

    Dear Parents,

We want to develop our provision in our outdoor area and wondered if you could help us by providing or making any of the items in the photos below.

Please let us know if you have some items, you feel would be useful or if you think you could make something.

Here is a list of thinks we would like that you may have and want to rehome - palettes, plant pots, planters, decking planks, guttering, tubes, pipes, bore pipes, water pumps, barrels, crates, whiskey barrels, cable drums, willow baskets, straw bales, builder's trays, tyres, fake grass cut offs, number plates. If there are other items, you have let us know and we will let you know if they are useful.

    Thank you for your support.

Lynsay and the Lanterns Nursery School Team

  • COVID GUIDANCE UPDATE

    Tue 05 Apr 2022

The following information has been issued to school regarding Covid guidance from the 1st of April 2022.

    • adults with the symptoms of a respiratory infection, and who have a high temperature or feel unwell, should try to stay at home and avoid contact with other people until they feel well enough to resume normal activities and they no longer have a high temperature
    • children and young people who are unwell and have a high temperature should stay at home and avoid contact with other people. They can go back to school, college or childcare when they no longer have a high temperature, and they are well enough to attend
    • adults with a positive COVID-19 test result should try to stay at home and avoid contact with other people for 5 days, which is when they are most infectious. For children and young people aged 18 and under, the advice will be 3 days
    • regular asymptomatic testing is no longer recommended in any education or childcare setting, including in SEND, alternative provision and children’s social care settings. Therefore, settings will no longer be able to order test kits

Please do not send your child into school if they have a high temperature or feel unwell. Please remember Lanterns Nursery School policy states that children should stay at home for 48 hours following a high temperature.
